New Methodology for Poolside Compliance Testing Introduced

- Ivars Jaunakais, President of Industrial Test Systems, Inc. (ITS), presented a new method for pool water testing last week during the annual World Aquatic Health Conference. The new eXact Micro 7+ photometer is designed to quickly and accurately determine water chemistry. The Micro 7+ reads directly: Total Alkalinity; Bromine; Calcium Hardness; Free Chlorine; Total Chlorine; Copper; Ozone; pH and Transmission. Additionally, in transmission the meter tests for: Ammonia; Chloride; Chlorine Dioxide; Cyanuric Acid; Iron; Low Range Total Hardness; Manganese; Nitrate; Nitrite and Turbidity. The eXact Micro 7+ is EPA-compliant for Free and Total Chlorine regulatory testing.
